HeldClose Photography is made up of Jon Held and Jenna Close . Both have been successfully photographing weddings for a number of years. Jon and Jenna met while working professionally for a theater company in Louisville, Kentucky. During that time they united over their love of photography and Jenna eventually studied the art further at the Commercial Photography Program at the Art Institute of Seattle.

HeldClose Photography was born from a melding of the photographers' last names. Jon Held and Jenna Close. It worked out perfectly. The two employ a photojournalistic style of photography, capturing moments and small details as well as wide sweeping scenes and beautiful portraits. Jon and Jenna always shoot each wedding together, allowing for multiple views of each scene and full, complete coverage. HeldClose Photography is also very adept at Photoshop, using many advanced tecniques to further each image.

HeldClose Photography is located in Oceanside, California. Oceanside is a great beach town in northern San Diego. It is the last town before Camp Pendleton and then southern Los Angeles. It provides easy access to both San Diego and LA, which works well for HeldClose Photography. The town has a famous pier (longest on the west coast) and a beautiful beach as well as old Highway 101 cafes and locally owned shops.
